My commute to downtown was stellar today -- I bypassed I-5 North backup and proceeded up and over Beacon Hill. I actually arrived at my destination 6 minutes early!
The commute will go to heck once the viaduct comes down. I can't imagine how that is going to impact your commute, bridge buddy. Very few will want to use a toll tunnel; the rest will flood & clog downtown streets like rats in a sewer.
